Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before you start. Still stuck? Email gaffrapp@gmail.com.
Can I train on my own?
Yes. Gaffr is built for solo training first. Most drills work for 1 to 4 players, and every session opens with warm-ups you can do alone. Drills where you'd normally need someone to pass to you include a solo-serve tip (feed yourself off a wall or rebounder).
Do I need any equipment?
Just a ball to start. Tell Gaffr what you've actually got (a few cones, a goal, a wall, a rebounder) and it tailors the drills to your kit and your space, from a back garden to a full pitch.
Is it for my level?
Beginner to advanced. You set your level and difficulty, and sessions adapt to your feedback over time, nudging harder after you cruise through and easing off after a tough one.
Where do the drills come from?
A curated library built from real professional training programmes, each with an animated 2.5D diagram, coaching points, and a demonstration video. The drills are hand-curated by a UEFA-licensed coach; the personalization around them is light-touch AI.
How long is a session?
Anywhere from 30 minutes to 2.5 hours, you choose. Every session leads with warm-ups, builds through progressive drills, and finishes with shooting.
What's the difference between Basic and Pro?
Basic unlocks the coach-built guided pathways and full sessions. Pro adds fully personalized multi-week pathways built around your own goal, adaptive difficulty, multiple player profiles, and priority generation.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Your first 3 sessions are free with no card required, then you can start a 7-day free trial on any plan.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel whenever you like and you keep access until the end of your current billing period. Payments and cancellations are handled securely by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy.
Do I need a coach to use it?
No. Gaffr is the coach. It plans each session, shows you exactly how every drill moves with an animated diagram, and links a technique video so you can see the movement before you try it.
What devices does it work on?
Any modern browser on your phone, tablet, or laptop. Build your session at home and take it to the pitch in your pocket.
